yea...5 on 5.5" is Ford Truck/Bronco bolt pattern, Mustangs are 5 on 4.5". Whats the width of the housing?

At least the housing is good, trucks got the beefier housing.

So all I would have to do is change the axles and the gearing if I wanted to right?

assuming its not too wide yes, but the truck housing is likely too wide.

Plus the spring perches will have to be flipped and relocated. Trucks had the leafs on top of the housings, mustangs are under it.

Post some pics if you can.

If its a truck housing probably have to be shortened and new axles ordered to fit it.

Axles with the correct bolt pattern...sometimes a good deal ain't so much.

Well I looked at it and thepumpkin had c5aw on it and it had 28 splined axles and 3.70 gears well around there. From inside flange of the housing to inside flange of housing it was 54 inches.

sorry the housing was 56 inches and to the end of the drum brakes was around 59 1/2 inches.
