Question Headlight problem, no low beam anymore

SO here's the scoop. I was driving home from work in a huge down pour. I had my headlights on and everything was working fine. I of course couldn't avoid running through some large puddles and standing water. By the time I made it home my low beams had quit working. The parking lights come on, high beams work, and all interior lights still work.

No low beam lights now. What gives? I am stumped. Is it possible the headlight switch crapped out?

Make sure the dimmer switch didn't melt or anything. Could try cleaning the connector first and see if that fixes it otherwise just get a 6 dollar dimmer switch

As mentioned the dimmer is likely bad. Do a resistance check on the dimmer with a multimeter to check it's two position operation, and take a good look at the wiring connector. If you don't have a multimeter you could jumper the connector with a paper clip to eliminate the wiring.
