hehheee :-) nice ...
you'll probably have less fun with limited slip, but better traction then ...
do you have a rev limiter? if not make sure to get one. If I do that in first gear the engine would probably go to 7grand and disintegrate without one. You sound hard at limit and not like taking the foot off :-)

I don't have a rev limiter or even a tach yet, but I agree it was not the smartest thing I've done. The bottom end is built pretty well with ARP fasteners everywhere, I think I'm OK to well above 6K, but I don't think I did that. You probably can't tell from the cheapo vid, but I did shift mid-burn. There are so many stripes on my street that they set a cop car out there last night. I guess my days of burnouts are over, or are they ....

I have a question for T5 guys, what gear ratio are you running and what would you suggest? This thing pulls really hard with a stocker 8" with (I'm guessing) 2.79 gears. I was originally thinking of going with 3.70 or so, since my '06 Ram (yes, I drive a Dodge) works great with the 4.56 I put in it, but I may need to reconsider, maybe 3.25 or so.

Let me know what y'all think.

That's awesome. I need to do that so my neighbors will love me. My neighbor has a habit of mowing his yard at the crack of dawn, so I think a payback may be in order.....hehe.

Damn, Randys66gt, I don't think you'll be too safe on the road once you get yours out there, sounds like it will be much, much faster than mine. You better wear a diaper .....
