actually the two front holes are usually used for lights, on rare occasions i have seen them used for brake cooling ducts.

not saying that they're not meant for cooling ducts, i'm just saying most cars that came through used those for lights. if they did however use them for cooling ducts, usually the lights were put where the license plate would go, like on eleanor.

I LOVE the R front valance, you can get it with or without bumper support, personally i'd rock it with a bumper only because the front end of these cars are not really collision proof. Also, you can get a billet grille for the valance that jus looks ever so sexy.

good luck on your decision, we can only show you the doors not make you choose one... remember, this is your car make it how you want it.

I think a Shelby-style hood will do more for your car than the valance. And don't just buy some cheesy hood scoop that bolts on. Your car deserves better than that.

Im still curious who has a quality part that is not overpriced just because of the name on the box.

Im casually mentioning to the wife that I want to delete the rear seat and get a roll bar...well see how that goes.

Can a plexiglass rear window be far behind ....LOL

Well, I know that a minor impact with a bumper will do some damage anyway, either way I'm back in the shop with a hammer.

But, if it draws hawt chicks then I may need to re-think it!

I am pondering doing a color match on the rear bumper to make it blend in and disappear since the R cars usually did not run one at all it may help with the look at first glance.
I guess I could consider painting the front bumper...hmmm.

Oh yeah, the hood may be a proper glass hood, my current hood has a bend in it that I need to get out anyway, so messing with a bond on hood scoop may be entertained if I can get the hood to sit right, but most likely I will just get a glass hood.

See, an acquaintance has a real deal GT350 that looks like it has never seen a wrench (or a wax job), I can check it out and see how they were done from the factory, but I dont want to build a clone car....I am thinking that somebody back in the day raced these things without buying the GT350 car?
I may go for the old war horse time machine kinda car, the stripes may be "different" than the typical clone car, if I have any at all.

I do gotta get the noises right tho!

I think Im going for that "Old warhorse" look as opposed to the "Secretaries car". So I am going to get a hood or a scoop at least and get rid of the current grill/lights in favor of the racer look.

I really like the GT350 R front valance that deletes the front bumper, does anyone have any advice or words of warning about doing that on a street car?
I could do the GT 350 valance with the bumper, but I think I like the other better.

Anyone here have that bumperless front end? Can you post a few pics?

Do I want any specific fiberglass? If so from who?

Thanks

The gt 350r front valance look great but dont fit worth a S*&t first one i got had almost a 2inch gap that i wouldve had to fill to make work and that was unacceptable reordered another and got it down to about 3/4" still not enough to make me happy but workable all i gotta say is have much patience alot of beer and good music for that journey.

Thats cool. I just can not stand the bumperless look. It looks incomplete. I prefer the sleeper look myself. I'm not totally against the valance though. James car looks sweet. Oh yeah, I vote no for billet grilles, barf.
