Default Help me pick a front valance.

OK, my 65 fastback is awaiting it's new garage addition so that I can rip this car apart and do the dirty deeds that it needs to get right, so I am choosing the "look" (And CJ pony is having a sale this weekend )

I think Im going for that "Old warhorse" look as opposed to the "Secretaries car". So I am going to get a hood or a scoop at least and get rid of the current grill/lights in favor of the racer look.

I really like the GT350 R front valance that deletes the front bumper, does anyone have any advice or words of warning about doing that on a street car?
I could do the GT 350 valance with the bumper, but I think I like the other better.

Anyone here have that bumperless front end? Can you post a few pics?

Do I want any specific fiberglass? If so from who?

Thanks

Check your states' laws before using the bumperless front end. There is a valence with the R model opening that retains the front bumper.

I've always liked the look of the R Model valance with a nice hood.

Question, what are the two holes for that are not the turn signals?

I like the R valance that retains the front bumper and parking lights and does not have brake duct holes.

I agree with the statement about the bumperless front. It may be illegal.

By the way, I think your car looks great like it is and wouldn't do anything to it.

Thanks.

But to be honest cars like this keep me up at night.

Im still curious who has a quality part that is not overpriced just because of the name on the box.

Im casually mentioning to the wife that I want to delete the rear seat and get a roll bar...well see how that goes.

Can a plexiglass rear window be far behind ....LOL

I like the R series (no bumper). That's what I plan to use on my restomod (one of these days project).
