That convertible hardtop idea is cool, but I can't stand the look of the back window. I thought I saw another one that looked like an original vert that had a completely removable hardtop.

Here, take a coupe and cut the roof off and then use this to make it a removable hard top.

I agree with others. Either buy a fastback to begin with or get a dynacorn body and transfer the components from your coupe as the donor car. A conversion from coupe to fastback would be a total money pit.

I think every mustang is a money pit, it just depends on whether we can justify paying for it or not.
