fronts have shelby drop, 1'' drop 620's (way too stiff) 1/2 coil cut, kyb shocks (too harsh). fronts are like 215's or something. rears are 285s

Talking

I just got off the phone with UB machine. They manufacture uppers and lowers for dirt track racers. Ill be able to make thier uca and lca full rollers. UCA are open and shock will bolt directly to lowers! SWEET!

So far this is what I have come up with if im going to design one like TCP

2 uca and 2 lca from UB machine ~$160
4 screw in ball joints @ $20 ea. $80 screw in vs bolt in ?
4 5/8 heims @ 10. ez $40
johnny joint for lower control arm $55
Fabricate mounts for upper shock - $10 six pack
Fabricate or purchase inner shaft $25
QA1 coilovers what length to attach to lca? $350
probably about 3 12packs of coronas $60

So total would be just a bit over $700 to make a design just like TCP

I like the way they did the upper mount in this kit, looks clean from the top and bottom.

And I definitely like the idea of not having to hack out the shock towers. If you're not running a big block and don't need to remove them, I wouldn't.

who cares how clean it looks...im not going to take my wheel off and go look how pretty that aluminum piece is that you cant see. thats part of what makes that setup over priced.

Actually I could Mount a shock mount on the stock LCA and use it

Gconnsr- I agree I like using the small block. One advantage the 65-66 have is the light weight. 2800lbs and 400+hp is a lot of fun

I hear what you're sayin, I don't think it would be to bad to have a nice billet aluminum plate made or something of that nature to keep the top half looking clean though.
