Default I tried

Wanted to offer up some of my old parts, put "offers" in my listing because anything that didn't go to a new home was going to the scrap yard. After the mods locked the listing everything is going for scrap. Be sure to thank the board gods.

I have no idea why the classified was locked. Looks to me like you followed the "rules" exactly. Maybe they just don't understand that "$0" is a price. A really low one.

No, he put it in the parts for sale section. They just have the rule where you have to put a price on the part, no matter what. I do think "make offer" should count as a price on parts though.

Like I said in my rewrite, He priced the stuff at "$0". As I recall from his earlier post, he basically just wanted to give it away, rather than scrap it.

Too bad. He could have talked to Dan at Glazier/Nolan. Usually, when people show up with a pickup truck of Mustang parts, he'll give them a few bucks for whatever is worth having.

My experience with moderators any place on the internet is that you can really tell which ones have thier mod position as the only authoritative position in there life.

I know which one this mod is based on the PM, I'll probably get banned but at this point I don't really care. I found a home for some of the smaller motor parts, kid is just starting with is first mustang, but the trans will probably end up back in the scrap heap. Might be worth while tearing it apart before I dig into my good trans.

I'll stand up for the mods here. You wrote in your original ad that you were requesting "offers" plus the price of shipping. So no, you did not follow the rules. Yes, some mods across every forum known to man can be tools, but in this case, it looks like you were in the wrong. If you were giving them away (for $0.00) then why did you ask for offers in the post? I re-read your post at the top, about putting "offers" and how it was going to the scrap yard if it didn't go. To the mods, how were they to read your mind?

Sorry, but the price rule is dumb. If the person puts make an offer I would just leave it there; however, say there were no prices at all and no where in the ad did it say open to offers I'd say close it down.
