if you get it back and are gonna mount it mount it horizonal i know it will take up more room but in the long run it wont burn the resistor out, as far as putting it back on thats up to you, but like i said they was meant to be on race motors because u can rechip them for the rev chip via limiting wheel spin ( on dirt track ) i think the blaster 2 coil is a 40,000 + coil if im thinking right,

its just all in looks more then anything and with a msd you have to retard timing 2 degrees, or thats what friends of mine was doing because of the motor setups with the higher coil volts,

if it was me id leave it out, but someone with more knowledge on msd's and there function can answer that question for you also since ive never ran one but have friends that have its basically just a person preference is all
