Default 1966 Mustang Instrument Panel Ant-Rattle Pads

I am rebuilding the five-gauge instrument cluster on my 1966 Mustang. I ordered the lens anti-rattle pads, but have no idea how to install or affix them; there were none when I disassembled the cluster. Also, what side of the lens do these go.....the side facing the bezel or facing the gauges? Any recommendations on what adhesive, if any to use?

Thanks!

There are slots on the back of the plastic bezel that you pinch the rubber tubes into. No glue required.

I thought it might be that way. What about on the 65 long sweep cluster? Is it the same way? I have the pads, but couldn't figure out how to install them when I restored the gauge cluster.

Yeah, very similar.
