I love it when new parts show up. Its kinda like Christmas, even though you know whats in the boxes.

cant wait too see the progress.. looking good. please dont take this the wrong way but 8k seems a little high does it not?

He was asking $10,900. I thought that was ridiculous, I was hoping to get it for 7k, but 8 was as low as he would go.

Anyway, I have had my daughter for the last few days, so I have just been doing upholstery in my living room after her bedtime. The back seat is almost done, the front seats will be a breeze by comparison.

Also the 15x8 Mag 500s look damned good. can't wait to get the car on the new shoes!

I know that it has been a while since an update, so here you go.

Pulled the motor/tranny yesterday. Thanks to everyone that suggested the load leveler. Came out with only a modest fight. Gotta finish sanding so that I can get it to the body shop. I am going to get a 90lb cap media blaster. The paint is as hard as steel.

If by, 'surface panels' you mean, 'all sheet metal', then yes. Most of the other parts will be replaced. This is a class 4 resto.
