Alternator gauge question

Alternator gauge question
My Alt gauge bounces all over the place when I turn on either turn signal. It is a little bouncy at idle as well but at higher rpms it smooths out. All connections are good and clean. Any thoughts on where the problem may be? I am thinking voltage regulator....
