Nothing is easier than the OEM style repro harness.

However, since you are doing a restomod, you could just get an EZ wiring harness or a Ron Francis like I did. Do you plan on changing the gauges? I liked the ron francis. It came with pretty much everything that I needed and was only about $300 for the entire car. Plus when you order it you can just get what ever else you think you may need added to the kit. As long as you are pretty good with a soldering gun and some wire crimpers youll be good to go.

I have done several Ron Francis kits also, I like them because I can run the wires however I want, they utilize top notch components including cross-link wiring, and they have always worked flawlessly for me.

Next wiring job I do I will make my own though.

Only issue I have ever had with the R/F kits is the fuel gauge sender wire is routinely too short.

I suggest reproduction wiring. Thats what I have been using on mine. I like that its the right length and pre-terminalized.

I used the EZ wiring kit on a 1972 F100 and frankly for a Mustang I wouldn't recommend it. If you're building a street rod and running new routing of all wires then it's a good generic kit.
