Default head lights problem

Hey guys,

At night when I have my head lights on I notice that the Higher the RPM's of my car the brighter the head lights get, and at first I thought it was my voltage regulator (I have a 66 coupe with practically everything original so far) so I replaced it and the problem didn't go away. Even though my alternator is working and keeping my battery charged could it be possible that it needs replaced? If its not the alternator then what would be caseing this?

Thats normal, theres nothing wrong with your car. That is just the alternator being under a load. When it gets brighter it's actually telling you your alternator is working right. But every old car i've seen does it. Some new cars do it too.
