that could be pink alright on the side, marti report will tell, the door data tag. but 2+2 once mentioned to look under the package tray.

Leave it for someone (like jp) who is actually looking for one of those.
not worth more than 500$ to any other mustang enthusiast person.

this car should have been originally playboy pink, look at the vin in the picture the color code is blank this meant the car was painted in playboy pink from the factory, it was a special order and there werent many of them. although not having a paint code could also mean it was painted Bright Red which was a special color also, and since your car is red i think its more likely bright red then playboy pink.

Playboy Pink Facts and Fiction
In 1967 Ford offered, through at least one promotional effort a Mustang color called Playboy Pink (Ditzler #71617). It is often mistakenly believed that that a Playboy Pink 1967 Mustang is either a prize awarded to that years Playmate of the Year, or a replica of that years prize.

There were only two Mustangs provided as official cars for the Playmate of the Year; a 1964 1/2 Mustang and a 1969 Shelby GT-500

Vehicles awarded to Playmate of the Year from 1964-1973 1964 Donna Michelle Ford Mustang 1965 Jo Collins Sunbeam Tiger 1966 Allison Parks Dodge Charger 1967 Lisa Baker Plymouth Barracuda 1968 Angela Dorian AMX 1969 Connie Kreski 1969 Shelby GT500 1970 Claudia Jennings Mercury Capri 1971 Sharon Clark Spectra 20 Ski Boat 1972 Liv Lindeland DeTomaso Pantera 1973 Marilyn Cole Volvo Sports Wagon

I understand that the so called playboy pink mustangs had no color code on the manufacturers plate.

If the car is really a playboy pink mustang it's probably worth something, I say just burn it.

I have seen at least half a dozen Dusk Rose (pink) Mustangs in junkyards over the last 30 years or so, and every one of them had been resprayed red. If the Marti Report says PP, it was PP.

dusk rose is the same color as playboy pink. no color code on the VIN doesnt automatically mean PP(my post above made it seem that way), it could be any one of the specialty colors such as

PP
anniversary gold
columbine blue
Aspen gold
blue bonnet
timberline green
lavender
bright red

all these would leave a color code on a VIN blank.
