Default Radiator for '68 302

Hi. I'm a newbie to the forum and I have a '65 Fastback that I bought with a '68 302 rebuilt engine installed by the previous owner that has about 33,000 miles on it. It has a comp cam and the engine is slightly bored out and has a nice sound to it and makes good power - haven't got it on the dyno yet.
I've redone the suspension including Shelby mod and did the disc brake conversion to the front so it's handling nice now!

Presently, I'm doing the cooling system and I'm not sure of what radiator would be the best choice assuming it must be spec for a 302 engine.
I'm thinking a 3-row cast iron cross-flow would be sufficient as I have a good 5-blade steel thermal fan and shroud. I found a 3-row aluminum Champion radiator at California mustang site for $247 but it's not cross-flow. NPD seems like most of the options there are no longer made in the US - not a good thing.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of radiator and where to order from?

As long as you are not looking for a "concourse look" radiator it will be hard to match the Champion radiator. It is not a cross-flow but then the car you have never came with a cross-flow radiator. The Champion radiator comes with a money back satisfaction guarantee. You can't beat that anywhere. I have a Champion on my 66 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have OEM style 1967 mustang 390 big block radiator in my 365HP 351W. It cools fast even on the hottest day. Looks like it came from factory that way. I found preformed hoses that fit perfect too. Love it.

For a 302 mod I would look at a 67 GT 289 radiator. The 390 may be more radiator than you need. I prefer OEM style radiators and caps. Don't like that ribbed flex hose.

Kinda lost me on that cast iron part.

I second Champion radiators. They are priced right and the quality is top notch. If you don't like the look of aluminum, Eastwood sells black radiator paint.
