I wonder how well that stock GT setup would match up to my tri-y's and h-pipe ......
I gotta get an exhaust system, just don't want to tow it to an exhaust shop, I could bolt this up for now and have it welded after the car is closer to finished.

What do you think about getting it done at an exhaust shop and running either an H pipe or a X pipe?

Yes you should run an H-Pipe. That is the easiest and the cheapest way to go and thye can do that for you at the exhaust shop with no problem.

As opposed to an X pipe whats the difference? If any.

The resonator deepens the tone and reduces the 'tinny' sound of the exhaust.
