Maybe I missed it somewhere. What kind of manifolds or headers are on it now?

they are shorty headers. the have an oval port design that does not match up to the afr square port. The shorties are ceramic coated inside and out too. Ill be able to sell them on ebay.

Just placed my order, which ceramic coating did you go with. I decided on the grey.

I thought about it until he said the grey is more durable. I guess I have a couple of weeks to change my mind.

i've coated ceramic headers b4.
i appreciate the elbow grease required to polish to a nice sheen.
if i could get polished for similar price...that'd b my pick.

as far as durability...i prefer SS so it won't be too ugly if coating wears off in places. either way i don't know any thing better than in/out ceramic coating on headers.

did they explain why there is a difference in durability?

dont see how one could be more durable than another...its both ceramic coating just two different colors. I have ceramichrome or something like that on my shorties. looks great.
