Default What next?

So Im done with the coilover front suspension. Cant decide what to get started on next.

a. Unisteer rack and pinion

b. FPA headers. My shorty headers I have dont match the port on my AFR heads so this needs to be done anyhow. Plus I have to pull one head and helicoil two threads.

c. Custom gauge cluster with autometer gauges

d. Replace rear 4.11 gears to 3.50

e. Install custom valve body on trans. Trans shifts at 5700 right now and with the custom one I can move that up to 6500 where my engine peaks.

I would say headers if you need to helicoil one of the heads.

I vote headers and head work! If it's a half as cool as your coil over we are in for some good stuff! Good luck.

I vote your car is amazing. Oh, I was supposed to answer what you should start with?! Haha for real I think the headers are a good place to start now, and follow up with the rack and pinion maybe?

Since you've got an overdrive trans why switch to 3.50s?

JP...Ill see if I can dig up some mini tub pics for you

frdnut...I want to go 3.50 for better highway performance. The 4.11s I have right now are kind of a waste. I get zero traction in 1st gear and spin tires throughout 2nd as well. I think the 3.50s will give me a better launch because Ill be able to stay in first a little bit longer.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I took her to my first car show this weekend. No awards. All the awards went to chevy guys and the show was put on by a classic mustang club...LOL
