for the start was wondering ... where are the additional holes for the shelby drop? Found them in the later pictures though.
I had that rpm cam running for a while until i flattened a lobe or two (probably since I had it). Liked it a lot with the rest of the combo (heads/intake etc). was very 'forgiving' at bottom end compared to the the XE268H. very streetable

I still have to repair the rust in the trunk to fix, but it's getting to the point where I can start to think about wheels.
Woohoo! Glad to hear it!

Have you thought about a new rear end as well? Or changing the gear ratio? Speaking of, what is the current ratio?

I'm probably missing something, but . . .

Why would the tranny choice have any particular rear end requirement? Drive shafts can be shortened and different U-joints installed (even so-called "conversion U-joints") that should make most any combination come together.

Kinda like the tail wagging the dog. LOL If I put a T5 in there I may as well change the rear, which is a 3.0 to something like a 3.55.
If I pop the toploader in there I most likely just keep the 3.0 in there for now.

What do you think of the Performer heads?
Yep I failed to mention the Shelby drop. I bought the template and drill bit from Daze. Went without event so it was kinda like why mention it. LOL

Got the brakes on, but not plumbed. Having done this conversion to my 66, this was way easier.

Where'd you get the shelby kit from?
