Default t5 questions

Hi, I am just about finishing up collecting all the parts to do the t-5 on my mustang. I was just wondering if any knows what kind of bolts are needed for pretty much the whole thing. bellhousing\motor, bellhousing\tranny, tranny mount, clutch bolts, flywheel bolts, any other bolts needed. thank you.

I got my whole drivetrain apart right now and should be going in as soon as my clutch disc arrives. Ill try and get a list for you soon, unless someone beats me to it.

Just go to a mustangs parts supplier and search for them. Bellhousing to motor depends on how many bolts needed, as I saw there is a 5 bolt kit and a 6 bolt kit. I can't find any for the clutch, but maybe it uses the same as the flywheel. Hopefully someone else will know about those.

I took everthing from my old setup, just bought new flywheel bolts and clutch pressure bolts as they were new. you shouldn't need gearbox to bellhousing as they should be in the T5 already. if you want to use your original bellhousing with a new T5 you'd have to buy the adapter plate anyway and that comes with the bolts you need

and yes. fully agreed, if you need any kind of new bolts, buy ARP. I swear on them as well.

I need the bellhousing to tranny bolts because I had to buy them both seperate. Does anyone know the length, size of each bolt? Just wondering if they are special bolts or standard ones I can buy from a bolt store. Thanks.

Just get grade 8 at your local hardware store.

You'll either have to get generic bolts from the hardware store and cut them, or get the specific Mustang sets. The generic bolts are either too long or too short.
