hood clearance issues?
I'm getting ready and prepped to install my 351 Clevor and just curious to see if you guys think i'll have hood clearance issues? I'm gonna be using the ron morris type lowering mounts, But I do have a windsor gt40 alum box upper intake. If it wont fit, does this hood provide any additional space?

I doubt the shelby style hood would give much more clearance, if any at all.
The thunderbolt style hood would definitely give you the clearance you need, but I don't like those vents in the back.

not a fan of those teardrop hoods, but everyone his own ...
I know JMD shoved a 351 windsor with victor intake under the stock hood, and that was a 65. I believe originally they used a drop base air cleaner.
So you might just be good. wouldn't buy anything before checking

kalli, I agree, im not buying anything yet. Hell I drive it with no hood for awhile if i have too. I was just looking around and there doesn't seem to be much for hoods. all are eleanor type hoods. I'd really like to just use the stock, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks guys
