Default flywheel bolts

Hi, Will my original flywheel bolts work with my new 10" flywheel that I am putting in my car? I am doing a 5spd conversion (t5 bellhousing). I currently have an 3spd auto. Also, will the bellhousing to motor bolts be the same as well? If anyone can tell me what the bolts are that are used to bolt the tranny to the bellhousing? Thanks.

the flywheel bolts should be the same, and the bellhousing bolts are of course the same thread, but not sure about length. I used original bellhousing.
However I would replace those bolts. especially the flywheel bolts. Use ARP.
for tranny to bellhousing. didn't you get the two pieces together?

Your car currently does not have a flywheel, it has a flex plate. It uses these bolts; they are shorter, and do not have the locating shoulders.

A flywheel is thicker, so needs longer bolts. Flywheel bolts also have a tall shoulder to keep the flywheel located, like a dowel pin.

Be sure to use a thread sealant on the new bolts. Most small block cranks are drilled right through the flange, and into the crank case. If you don't seal them, you'll get a big leak.

Ok, I will just order them all from modern driveline then. What thread sealant do you recomment? Would a blue loctite work? Thanks.

Blue lock-tite is not a thread sealant, it's a thread locker. I use Permatex teflon paste.
