Question Front Sway Bar

Hi,

I am looking at replacing the bushing on my front sway bar and also hoping to just sand and repaint it as well since it has some rust on it. My question is if I take off the sway bar would it be o.k. if the car sits without it on for a while? I never replaced one before and just don't want anything to wreck the car with it off.

Unless you try to drive it, you'll never know it was off the car. It doesn't support anything.

pulled sway bar off jeep when climbing da mountains.

reconnect b4 hwy.

could hardly tell the difference w/ it on or off on twisty country roads.

big sway bar made big difference on oem 65 mustang.

anywho...2+2 got your answer.

Just don't take the car out on curvy roads and you'll be fine.
