Question Replacement Fenders?

Hi, looking for some ideas from all of you. Replacement Fenders or Ford Tooling Fenders? Is spending the extra money worth it?

Not for me. I had to do some work with my repros like extending areas where they meet the headlight buckets and using some homemade tools to get the fender and door arch just right but I figured I'd be doing the same thing with original tooled fenders anyway. The tolerances were not tight to begin with and I don't believe any fenders will just bolt on to a 43 year old car without adjustment.

Got that right. You will have to make ajustments to body panels no matter what. Elongated holes, use metal shims, whatever it takes. The key is to be patient and don't rush things for the sake of getting it done. You know what they say, measure twice cut once.

The "OT" fenders are better. You'll spend a lot less time dialing them in.

The above are right, Original tooling fenders will be easier to use.
