Default 67 console 5spd

Hi, just wondering how many people here are running the stock 67 console with the manual shift plate that used a stock style t5 shifter. I was told I would have to use some kind of t5 shifter that modern driveline sells for over 200 bux. Did anyone else have to use this? Thanks. I am using the hurst shift rod.

The stock shifter with look-alike original style lever fits that stock shifter hole.

So I should be ok with the factory t5 shifter assembly and a stock style hurst shift rod.

The Hurst was not stock on 64-69. I meant this lever.

Ya, i know. If the stock one works then the hurst rod should work as well, they both just bolt up to the t5 shifter assembly. I was just wondering if I need to buy this slik stix from modern driveline in order for the shifter to work with the console and 4spd shift plate. Thanks.
