Default Getting a car titled

Hey guys looking to buy a 66 Mustang convertible with no title I live in Charleston WV. They say here you need a notarized bill of sale & need a copy of the last place it was registered. Is there any companies besides Mustang Title Company & Broadway Title that does this? AN who would be good to go with an what would I need an what would it cost an how long till I get a title?

Any local registration place should be able to handle, at least down here in LA.

My 65 fastback came from Maine which is a no title state for vehicles older than 20 years. I bought the car on ebay and only received a bill of sale. I called up to the DMV in Maine after receiving the car and they had me forward the bill of sale to them and the registration fee to register the car in my name. After doing this they mailed me a registration in my name and Maine license plates. From there I took the new registration to my local DMV and they printed up a title for me and changed the registration to my state. It was pretty simple but required a few steps.

Transfering car ownership on a car with no title can be a big pain in the butt. Each state will be different so I would check with you local DMV before purchasing the car.

Second that, and my golden state, aka California is the worst of them all. You can't fart here without paying some sorta fee.

Try massachusetts, they actually tried passing a scenic view tax. An extra tax if your home had a view of anything other then a parking lot. Keep in mind this is on YOUR property that YOU paid for.
