Default Yet another wheel question

I like the look of bigger wheels but i dont want to mess with rolling the wells or anything like that. So what are the biggest sizes i can use? I heard that 18's might need some work in the front. could i run an 18/19 or and 18/20 without modifications? what about width?

Thanks

you can fit 18's without any issues.I wouldnt do 19's, its a oddball size and tires are $$$$.You could also fit 20's.I put 20's on my 65 fastback just to see if they would fit and they fit pretty good.It was a 20X9 with a 275/30/20 off my 06 GT. As far as width for yours a 8" front and rear would fit.You should be able to fit a 9 or 10" with some measuring on the rear.

8" wide fronts and 9" wide rears is about the max width you can go before having to clearance the wheelhouses.

Thanks all,
I was looking at the price difference between the 17 and 18, it does make a difference. There are more choices of rubber for a 17 than an 18. so that may be a determining factor.
How do you feel about staggered look? I know some people dont like it too much because they cant be rotated but what about performance?

Just remember that the more wheel there is, the lower the profile of the tire, so the ride will be affected negatively unless you spend more on the suspension to make up for it.
