Too be honest I really don't know the name of the shop, rebel mustangs referred me to the shop is in coanga park near woodland hills. He was just moving into a new location and there wasn't a name anywhere. But I do know the guys name helping me.
Today I went to another shop, that has never done an eleanor kit before and they work on mostly modern day cars. My uncle referred me to this place and iv heard of them before. here is there website. http://www.specialtycarcraft.com
They quoted me around the same price and they said it should take about 1-2months. The other shop said 4-5months, which is crazy long. Do you guys think i should trust a shop that has never done work on 68 mustangs?

He did say that he worked with Toby Halicki's widow, Denice, so I guess she made the decision. He did mention that the first production car went to her.

FYI, they Classic Recreations is based in Oklahoma.

Apparently, it is not legal to do in many states and they are supposed to be titled as kit cars under the year it was completed.

I'd rather have a stock fastback or a Shelby clone than an Eleanor. There is too much fiberglass to mess with and there are how many others that look just like it?

I'll pass on the Ring Brothers car too. There is nothing classic looking about it.

I agree that opinions are like @ssholes, everyone has one but the OP didn't ask what you thought of Eleanors so let him do what he wants with his car and his money.

To the other point. A Pontiac Fiero based Lambo is a common kit to build. Just because it has suspension and even a Fiero drivetrain does not mean its registered as a Fiero. Its a kit. same goes for a dynacorn body. Its manufactured today and is not a classic, its a kit no matter how many original parts your bolting up, it won't have a soul

Hes talking about a budget and 7k to get all that fiberglass to fit right and a good paint job is probably double that. Most Eleanors i seen in person are 50 foot cars and no body really wants a car like that do they?
