So what set of 302 headers will not hit the equalizer bar? That's my problem now

Glad you got your issue straightened out.

I went through this issue 4 years ago when I had my '67 coupe. I found out that if you looked in an original Ford parts catalogue, you'll find the '67 coupe had a different part number than any other Mustang, including the '67 convertible & fastback. I wound up buying a used set of '67 mounts from a guy that had a Mustang junkyard in California. Here's my original thread:

Your fox body headers are the issue.
