Default gauge feed wiring harness length

So I mistakenly bought a gauge feed wiring harness for a 67-68 6cyl and it's about 3 inches too short to reach the wiring harness at the firewall.
The wiring harness for the small block doesn't look quite right for my application even though I have a small block in my 68 Mustang.
I'm wanting to know if the big block wiring harness is any longer than the 6 cylinder version. Anyone out there know how the gauge feed wiring harness for a 6 cylinder vs a big block differ?
Better yet, anyone out there with a big block and a measuring tape?

My question pertains only to the gauge feed wiring harness that attaches to the coil, oil pressure sensor and water temp sensor then back to a plug at the firewall. here are links to pics of each.

Can't you just return it and get the right one?

evidently you missed the point of my post.
theoretically I need the wiring harness for a small block - but it doesn't look right.
The 6 cyl harness looks right, just too short.
The big block harness looks right but I don't know if it will fit either..
Was hoping for further insight before messing with returning / reordering a different part that I'm not sure will work.

so for anyone else with this question. I went ahead and ordered the 67-68 big block gauge feed wiring harness and it is identical to the 6 cyl part but about 4 inches longer so the porridge was just right for my application. I've got a 68 6 cyl car with a 302 from a late 70's truck.
The 67-68 6 cyl part was too short to reach the wiring harness at the firewall.
The 67-68 small block part did not have the correct connector for my coil.

The BB coil lead will be too short far a SB.

Photo, please. Both of your links show the correct coil connector.

Perhaps your coil is to blame. All Mustangs used the same coil from the factory.

Good info but it worked out in my application - my small block is from a late 70's pickup not an original Mustang engine and it worked OK for me. I did have to bend the coil mounting bracket a little to make it reach but it worked OK.
