Default why doesnt someone build a stallion?

first off no offense to anyone building an eleanor or gt500/gt350 clone, if your putting that much work into a car more power to you. but i really think this would make a badass clone. i guess its basically a 67 fastback with a 390 and 4 speed, but a certain ford dealership added cougar tail lights, stallion badges, and vinyl down the sides of the roof to promote the new mercury cougar, looks pretty cool to me.

The pony site link is god awful ugly. It looks like a cheap jack it up, run the wrong offset rims so I can put some cool big tires on my car.

These young pups. Back in the 1970's, Mustangs with L60-15's on the rear, and a pair of Gabriel Hi-Jackers were common as dirt. You'd find a dozen or more parked at any high school. More common than tuners today.

QTF... Boy did you hit that right on the head!! That is what I grew up with and prefer over these retro modded cars with 16"+ ratty wheeled low riders any day.

No one builds them because they are ugly.

Jacked in the back with fatties looked stupid back then. Today it just screams redneck. Can you say Joe Dirt! I still see them in Colorado but when I was in Cali it was a very rare sight, thankfully. I was so happy when guys started figuing out the tucked and tubbed look was so much cooler.
