Upholstery is harder than I remember

Upholstery is harder than I remember
I have had the bench seat cover for a while and finally finished it today. I did my 68 seats a long time ago and it didn't seem as hard as this past one. It has wrinkles and I reused the foam, so that would explain it, but some parts were cut shorter than others and the armrest... well that was cut nothing like the original. The driver's side smoothed out a bit after I sat my fat *** down in it, so I guess I will have to sit in the passenger side too.
The original color was black and I dyed the headrests. I think overall it's tolerable and I do love the headrests, not only for safety, but for profile of the car.
I like the feel of the bench seat and I had to weld on two bolt threads onto the passenger side track. One snapped tightening and the other cross threaded and f-ed the threads.

im familiar with 67 and 68 seats.
I had to use hog rings to pull the middle area tight around the middle of the seat to give it a tight fitted look. (it would be the black section on your seat, the hog rings would go around that section and pull it in towards the rear frame)
Did you do this?
This might be why you have wrinkles too. Regardless, the bench is rare and looks great
Take a look at these seats to see what im talking about

They say you either love bench seats or hate them. I like mine.
