Default Having keys made, stor key too thick

So, I have been to HD and Lowes for having keys made. The store blank is thicker than the ones I have.

Do I need to order special blanks or is it the big stores that don't carry the thinner blanks.

Thanks,

I had to find a locksmith to cut my keys for my '66. I think '69 used the newer style though.

Default Thanks guys.

Thanks for the info. being my first order for the mustang, I guess I need to make it a good use of my c Card and order more items.
