toploader shifter boot

Default toploader shifter boot

i installed my trans, forgetting to put the lower shifter boot on it. now it looks like a pain to get it on. how can i do this easily. otherwise i'm waiting till next time the trans comes out to do this. does anyone have a pic of theirs as well? thanks.

Remove upper boot and shift lever. Remove 3 shift rails and remove the shifter from the trans. Install boot and put it back together. 2 hours maybe.

If you force yourself to go back and fix any mistakes that you make it will make you be more careful in the future. It sucks but it makes me pay more attention.
