All doors were the same, regardless whether they were installed on GT or standard cars.
Early 65 cars had push-on door and window handles, later cars had a screw in the center. All you need to do is take the pivot and regulator from the old door and put them in the "new" door.
If the "new" door has the deluxe "pony" interior, the door handle pivot is longer, and must be changed. The deluxe door also had a courtesy light in it, so you'd be stuck with that.
