Here is a site you might be interested in. Lower the HP to 400 and save about 2k.

Procomp=JUNK in my opinion and that motor is full of procomp parts..I wouldn't touch it at any price..

The thing is, there are any number of builders out there that do not cost over 5K to do a power rebuild. It amazes me when I see members here talking about dropping a 12K motor into a 4K car. Unless you are going to race it professionally it makes no sense. I am sure that procomp is not the only parts out there you can get for a good price and it seems like Arizona and thier evolving engine rebuild industry is on the leading edge of give you more HP at a much lower cost then local builders. This guy is only one of about 4 I have seen on the internet but I have a cleveland and do not look up any info on the windsor. I am sure that if you do a google for high performance rebuild packages for your engine you will find a builder that will ship you an engine for half the cost of your local builder.

I did not recommend him. I pointed out one of several options. I have not used him, I used the other one on ebay instead. And I do recommend him. Its just that these guys come in here and get told they got to drop large sums of money to get what they want, and in most cases thats not true.

This is the one I purchased and the one I recommend. If you have a week, just drive up there and drop your car off and he will rebuild your engine for you.

That looks like a good deal to. He was looking for a 351W though. No idea why but thats what he wants. I prefer the clevelands, but what do I know.

@Fordication - Why you like Clevelands better? Arent the parts more expensive than a Windsor?

that summit deal is a good price but you can get a little better deal if you look around.

Like Fordification said, he reccommends Tuff Dawg. SO do I. they are a local company here and they have great prices. Also, Tuff Dawg has a 347 stroker crate engine with aluminum heads ( not Procomp) for a couple hundred more than the Summit deal. Also, Tuff Dawg will let you swap parts around on their deals so you can get exactly what you want.

IMO the 347 is the way to go. If you want more power, Turbo it as well.
