Default 67 and 68 compatibility.

Hey guys,

Being an noob when i bought my car it bought and got a package deal with a whole bunch of rust, like ridiculous amounts of it. if i were to try and fix it all, i would need new everything. so i have some family in AZ and ive been hunting craigslist for a good roller, found a real nice 68 roller thats been sandblasted, it doesnt have the interior, doors, trunk, hood. Since i just rebuilt my engine i was going to drop it into the 68. Now would my interior (its pretty much brand new) drop right in? there both coupes. what about the doors/trunk/hood?

hes asking 1000 for the roller or 500 without suspension/wheels.

The nice thing about all the missing sheet metal and interior is you can easily inspect the chassis for rust....I would kill to get a rust free shell that cheap around here!

yeah, especially here in MN, but the east US in general, mustangs like this dont exist or are very spendy. and any "complete" but unrestored mustang would probably be super rusty. imo 1000 bucks seems like a steal, he would sell it without suspension for 500, i doubt i could get suspension for 500$, that doesnt include the time it would take to install the suspension.

I second that question. also whats different with the door panels?
the steering wheel is different because it's adjustable, right?

The fake scoop things... which is the only part of the 67 that I don't like.
