The notch in the dash appears to have been cut.what does this tell you about the car? that it is indeed a 65?
All 64-65 with standard instruments were straight- the optional instrument cars were stamped with the curve.

I will look on ebay for 65 dash clusters......Not saying i'm going to get one yet.......Just looking......
Well, this is what you're looking for:

Question.......Will that Arvinode Exhaust work on a convertible? This car has a thick steel plate bolted under the driveshaft that i would suspect is a convertible only thing. The pipes have to run through this...
Oddly, ALL 64-73 Mustang exhaust was made to fit convertibles, even the exhaust on cars that didn't come as convertibles, such as BOSS Mustangs.

Also remember this is NOT a Mustang but a T5 would that Arvinode Exhaust be found on a T5?
I suppose that depends whether German dealers used the whole option list.

Now that this dash is notched if i install a non GT 65 gauge cluster this notch will show...
Probably, but even I could weld that like new pretty easily, and I don't do much welding these days.

just on a note ... from what I know the T5s were only sold in Germany, nowhere else. So for that I wouldn't be surprised if they came with km/h instead of mp/h speedo .. maybe that's why it was changed ?!

I'd buy that, if it was a 65 cluster, but not a 66.

He could always put one of these on the standard speedo:

ya :-) I always thought about getting one of those for mine (since I'm german and driving in ireland and once accidentally smudged the white numbers trying to clean it ...)

Here we go again….I need some of your knowledge…..I will become a K code specialist when I’m done….I hope..

Anyway here is my problem.
The waterpump that came off this car is not the same as the one I ordered for a K code. It seems I have the wrong timing cover so I went ahead and removed it. I want to put on the correct parts.

What do I have here and what do I need so I can start locating the correct parts?
