Default Bad Day

Well I got my feelings hurt today...I'm switching my 65 fastback over to a v8, I found a 1964 1/2 that was a 260 car..It had the 8 inch rearend but someone had switched the car over to disc brakes...well after buying the car and tearing everything apart I have discovered that everything is identical to my I6 parts like the sway bar, upper and lower control arm and the suspension, only difference is the spindels..could it be a got a fluke car? Even the steering arms are the same size as my I6...Any info will be great guys...Sorry for any typos posting from my phone

Does the 64 1/2 have 4 lugs or 5?

Upper and lower control arms are the same on a V8 and I6.

The spindles and all the steering linkage is different on a I6 and V8.
Springs are different because of the weight of the motors.

The V8 spindles are bigger then the I6 spindles.

That looks like a 69 linkage, which you can't use. I wouldn't use the 69 spindles, either. They'll work "OK" but not as well as correct 64-66 spindles.
