Default Spring Perch Question

Ok im starting to get frustrated. After fighting with the front coil springs last night for close to 5 hours I got them in. After looking at some pictures today I notice that the spring saddles may be on backwards. What I mean is the spring sits in it and locks on the front of the saddle not in the back. I put them back on the way I took them off.

Is this gonna be a problem? If so then the person before me put them back on the wrong way which I'm sure can happen with a 40+ year old car

have you tried flipping the spring? Worst case scenario is the car won't align properly, but I don't think that'll happen unless the spring makes the car sit higher than usual since the spring is installed wrong.

The spring saddle is just flipped so the little clip that the last coil of the spring hits is in the front not the back.

I don't really foresee any problems as long as the other side is like that too. Could be wrong though. Personally I'd try to set it right.

I dont think its gonna be a problem either. They came off that way and was driven from Florida to Michigan that way. I will probably fix them at some point. This is a rolling chasis and I had to get front suspension on to get it out of the body shop. So until its road worthy its staying that way!

If anyone has any more input please comment
