1973 Mach1 428 CJ?
I found a Mach 1 rusting out in a barn. The guy says it is a 73Mach 1 428 CJ.
When I asked around, there seems to be some argument about whether there was a 73 Mach 1 428 CJ.
Before I go back, I need to know how to tell for sure. And an idea of what it's worth.
He says the guy who owned it drove it in, but that was in the late 80's. Doesn't appear to have been wrecked.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you're lucky its a 71 SCJ 429, or maybe someone just dropped a 429 in a 73 Mach 1. The 429 in the 71 is not a hemi headed motor like the 69-70 Boss was though so its actually more streetable. The 428 is a completely different motor that was never offered in the 71-73 body making much more of a project to accomplish. They would have had to fabricate things like motor mounts, exhaust headers and throttle linkage.
