Cool Upper Control Arm Question

So i am installing my new upper control arm and noticed that the shaft doesn't move. The old shaft moves. So i put grease in the fittings for the shaft thinking that would allow it to move but nothing.

What am I missing here?

It's new. The only real question is the shaft centered in the arm?

It appears to be centered, so there supposed to be to stiff and not able to move up or down with my hand. I have read that they are tack welded the new ones that is.

Some people tack weld the caps for extra security.

Just got them installed with the same amount of shims as before. Now they move, must not have enough muscles! LOL
