Front end noise

Front end noise
Now that I'm off school for the summer I can give my 71 the love it really needs. It's been my daily driver for a little over a year now and ever since I got it the front end has been rattling very loud on the slightest bumps and squeaking when going over speed bumps slowly. Other than having to replace my rear wheel bearings and my timing chain is there any suggestions on how I can find out what needs replacing and/or adjusting in the front end?

Jack the car up and crawl under it and look for what's rattling.
Since it's a 71 it is probably going to need LCA bushings, UCA bushings, tie-rod ends, idler arm bushing, spring isolators, shock bushings, sway bay links strut rod bushings, ball joints and perhaps a control rod stud . In other words anything that moves is probably worn out - without a visual inspection it's hard to tell.
You could try a good lubrication first but you definitely want to do the visual inspection to make sure you're safely operating the car.
