Default Coolant leak

Hey guys I have what appears to be coolant coming from the top of my breather caps on both sides of the engine. I think this was caused by the improper installation of intake manifold gaskets.

I would have used the search function and looked around but it seems to have changed and will not let me search for topics.

Thanks.

so you have coolant coming out of both of the valve covers? Pull your dip stick and check for foamy milky looking oil.

Oil is dirty, but not brown or foamy.

Hi,
Are you sure, what you are seeing is not blow-by vapors? This is much more common than coolant.
Good Luck!

Kenash, I am pretty sure its not just vapor I have fluid spitting out from my breather caps. The fluid felt thin, but not oily, and took a while to dry on my finger. It also smelled sweet, which is why I am pretty sure it is coolant. I will take rmodel's advice and try to pressurize the coolant system.

Hi,
OK, do the pressure check. Do the test with a warm engine. Remove the rad cap and create the pressure. Look for the leaks around the heads, and bubbles in the coolant fluid. Since it's showing in the V/C by virtue of blow-by in the case, it may be very tiny, as you are not seeing it in the exhaust? Correct?
Good Luck!
