I just recently bought a 1972 mustang fastback. It is Dust Rose in color. I heard there were only 300 of this color made. Is this a rare car? If so, how rare. Thinking of changing the color, but if it is in fact rare, should I go back to factory color?
I'm assuming you mean Dusk Rose, but that was only available in 1967 if I remember correctly. Only pink color available in 1972 was the Playboy Pink special order.

that model has absolutely zero collector value irregardless of color, therefore, paint it the color you want, however, a complete color change typically costs more than repainting it the original color.
