Default better rear shocks

I am currently running the kyb gr2 shocks all the around but i would like to stiffen up the rear some. Will the regular kyb shicks do it or is the a different option i should be looking into. I dont want ro spend a ton but i dont mind spending money for a good product.

I have the Kayaba Gas-A-Just all around, and I like them.

First question, why do you want to stiffen it up?

I started out with Gas-A-Justs and, while they handled well and I was happy with them overall, they didn't ride very well on rough pavement. They were stiff enough to cause the rear end to bounce and skitter around rough corners. I switched to Edelbrock IAS shocks and am much happier with them. They control body roll just as well as the Gas-A-Justs, but they ride much, much nicer due to the variable valving in the shock.

However, if you're going to spend the money on some Edelbrocks, you may consider forking the extra bit for some custom-valved Bilsteins from Street or Track. I've heard nothing but good things about those.

well it bottoms out really easy with only me in the car. When i hit the bumps over the intersections i bottom out. I have the 4.5 mideye springs as well. I also have a lot of body roll and when i take off with a fast launch the *** end sinks a ton.

the ride is decent but i think it is a little soft.

I would recommend the Koni yellows if they are available for your year Mustang. You can run them full soft, then adjust them a little at a time to get exactly the ride you want.
I use them on my '97, now I will never use anything else.
