351 cleveland head gasket replace
A few years ago I purchased a freshly rebuilt 351c. I recently had it started and broken in at my local Mustang shop. All went smoothly except the water pressure went through the roof after 5-20 minutes at idle. After a leak down test and some research it was discovered that a head gasket had been installed backwards. Bummer!
I am nearing the end of my immediately available funds for this project and paying a shop to do the work is not really an option. Fortunately Im feeling ambitious and have some time to spare at the moment. I have a strong understanding of all the moving parts and nearly all the tools to do the job. Having never attempted replacing a head gasket before, I was hoping you guys might be able to share some insight and knowledge.
Thank you,
Matt
