Hi all,

I am working on putting my doors back together on my 66 Mustang and I need the rods that go from the inside door handles to the latch mechanism. It seems that none of the parts places sell this rod for 65-66 models. They have the part for 67-68 mustangs. Would this rod work?

 

"None"? You're looking in the wrong place, then. Glazier/Nolan lists "G19256 64-66 RH Lock Rod Set (latch to door lock), and G19257 64-66 LH Lock Rod Set (latch to door lock). They also have them used.

 

David at GN said they do have them. They seem to have a lot of stuff that places like NPD don't. If it werent for shipping I would probably buy a lot more stuff from them. (I live 30 min from NPD)

 

NPD is pretty high factor that in and sales tax you might end up cheaper ordering from glaziers...

 

This is true, but I don't have to wait on parts from NPD. I can make a quick list and drive down to pick up the parts I need.

 

??? We've always carried 65-66 door lock rod sets, page 231 of our current catalog, NPD #'s 21852-1A (RH) and 21853-1A (LH), $29.95 per-side, which is pretty much what they sell for everywhere.

And we have plenty of them in-stock at the NC store.
