Default seat pan ?

What is the difference between the one piece pan and the separate seat pans?

Doe they have the same mounting holes?

I would think the one piece would be easier to install.

Yes, the one-piece, the way Ford assembled it, is easier, because although the spot welds for the pinchweld at the rocker, firewall, and transition are the same either way, with the two side pieces you also have to weld nearly ten feet of the transmission tunnel with the two piece. And, of course, the results with the one piece are superior.

There are several cars with the one-piece shown here-

On reviewing this thread, I realized you were talking about the seat platforms. The one-piece is a convertible item which adds stiffness to the car. Dynacorn also uses it in at least some of their faastbacks.

So I should use the separate ones? Im thinking of finding a bench seat to istall, any one better than another?

Any instructions on installing these to my floor pan?

the holes for the seat bolts will be directly above the access holes in the floorpan you use to get to them so you can use that as a guide for lining them back up
